There is the different between leading and being leader.
The meaning of being Leader might be take a position of sit on the position. For this understanding, those who can sit on the Leader position is those who categories below:
1. Those with much money can buy the position or the audience to support them to be a leader.
2. Those who popular among the others. It is physical popularity.
3. Those who have communication ability to persuade people to follow them.
The three qualification above is the most popular qualification for a person / a leader with an attitude that care only the position and not the character of a leader i self.
I would like to describe the quality of a leader who totally opposite with the 3 quality above.
A leader who not consider the position but the responsibility is a person who live with the quality below:
1. Those who use every source to serve the interest of many / those who follow him / the community who he lead. The source is money, things, people.
2. Those who use his popularity to make benefit to the community who follow him.
3. Those who persuade the follower with his communication skill to follow the vision of the community.

Make sure you are a leader who leading and not some one by accident put in the position of leader.
